Renting a villa on the Costa Brava lets you experience the coastline at your own pace, with more space and privacy, particularly when travelling with family or friends.

Some properties, set above the coves, offer views over the Mediterranean from their terraces or living areas, while others have direct access to the sea. Where to rent a villa on the Costa Brava?

Our selection of villas on the Costa Brava spans several emblematic areas, from coves and coastal villages to the inland countryside:

• Tamariu: a good choice for staying close to a small, sheltered bay, in a quiet setting very much oriented towards the sea.
• Begur: ideal for combining beaches, coves and a historic centre, with easy access to several stretches of coastline such as Sa Tuna or Aiguablava.
• Cadaqués: a good option for its more secluded character, whitewashed houses and proximity to the Cap de Creus.
• Llafranc: a pleasant coastal village, with a beach, a small harbour, several restaurants and lovely seafront walks.
• Pals: worth considering for its more rural setting, while staying close to the beaches and the medieval village.
• Palafrugell: a practical base for exploring several coastal villages and reaching different beaches in the region easily.

What not to miss on the costa brava

On the Costa Brava, the Camí de Ronda coastal path lets you cover part of the coastline on foot and reach several coves without needing a car. Around Begur, this path leads towards Sa Tuna and Aiguablava, where walking, swimming and kayaking are easy to combine.

Further north, Cadaqués is worth a visit for its whitewashed lanes and seafront. Nearby, the Cap de Creus offers several walking routes through a rugged, wild landscape.

Inland, Pals and Peratallada are two medieval villages that are easy to explore on foot. Back on the coast, a boat trip, paddleboarding or snorkelling are good ways to explore other coves. The coastal restaurants are also a chance to try local fish, seafood and Catalan specialities.
